Burnham Grammar school architectural consultancy
( ESG goals)
As part of the new building project an architectural firm consulted a local school to assist in the design of a new school that would meet needs of the Environmental, Social, and Governance of the company. Pathway Creative provided a framework for the students to conduct a student led ESG audit of the school. The school’s environment group engaged in primary research, writing reports and presentation of findings. This project was proven to benefit all stakeholders by meeting the ESG goals for the Architectural firm and to the students who were able to develop meaningful relationships within the school, whilst maintaining a realistic vision of what could be achieved. In addition, the delivery of a well-researched report provided them with a novel experience in the exploration of the wider world around them.

Woodcraft Folk: Participatory Urban Appraisal
As part of the Pride in Place government fund, Pathway Creative engaged with the local Woodcraft Folk youth group to make a decisions on how to spend the £20 million funding.
The older members of the group were trained how to engage in social research to understand what was important to them in the community and how best the money should be spent. The group then used the same methodology to research viewpoints of the younger members of the group. This laid the foundation for an extended consultation that is ongoing. The results of his exercise will feature in a report written up about the youth voice of the community and will be presented to Members of Parliament.
